Before the following, a note from me (Tom): I know, we’re all… ‘busy’.
Busy with US elections; busy with cheering yet more war in the Middle East; busy with our car being in need of yet another repair; and this kid is not good at school; and we’ve got to pay taxes; and garden needs some work before the winter… and if nothing else with our favourite team losing the last match….and then, somewhere around the place 99 in this ‘charts’, there’s ‘that with Ukraine’.
…..and we’ve all donated already For the Shark, and then for the 113rd Brigade’s SUV (bottom of that post), and then we’ve launched collection on behalf of the 151st Brigade, and bought them two, and repaired another SUV, plus bought different support equipment…
…and don’t worry: I know Anastasiia’s and my ‘ultimo’ of that collection for the 151st is still due, and then there is much more to follow in this regards…
….and yet, there is no end of need.
Thus, I’m sorry but: please, be so kind and support this collection, too. Again: if it’s - literally - two cents, be sure, it’s most welcome and spent where it does matter.

My charity Bio: Benjamin Cook, who is a contributor here, has lived and worked in Ukraine on-and-off for 14 years. When the full scale invasion started he and UAO co-founder Mike knew they had to do more than just send thoughts and prayers. We created UAO, the Ukraine Assistance Organization.
Partner with Us: Delivering Critical Aid to Ukraine’s Most Vulnerable
Since the first month of Russia's invasion, the Ukraine Assistance Organization (UAO) has been a lifeline for those in Ukraine's most remote and underserved villages. With the support of our dedicated team and our partnership with BlueCheck Ukraine, we’ve been able to deliver crucial medical care to those who need it most. But now, more than ever, we need your help.
For just $25, you can provide one person with the medicine, care, and support they desperately need. Our team travels to small villages across southern Ukraine, where up to 200 people might be waiting, hoping for a chance to receive the medical attention they wouldn’t otherwise have.
Your contribution can directly impact these lives, allowing us to continue our mission of providing dignity, hope, and care to those most affected by this ongoing conflict.
Our Goal: We aim to raise $2,500 to cover the costs of medical care for 100 people. This includes everything from the medicines themselves to the transportation of our team, ensuring every dollar you donate has a direct and meaningful impact.
What sets UAO apart is our collaboration with BlueCheck Ukraine, a charity founded by actor Liev Schreiber. BlueCheck’s rigorous vetting process means that only the most effective and transparent organizations receive their support, and we’re proud to be among them. Thanks to their backing, we can focus on what we do best—delivering life-saving care—without the need for micromanagement that often hampers other organizations.
Your support is more than just a donation; it's a commitment to the people of Ukraine. By contributing, you’re ensuring that someone in a forgotten village has access to the medical care they need to survive and thrive. Every dollar counts, and together, we can make a profound difference.
Please consider donating today and be a part of something that truly matters.
Thank you for standing with Ukraine!
Meet our core team:
"and garden needs some work before the winter…"
The garden can wait. This is more important. Thank you for sharing 👍
Thank you Tom!
