Hello everybody!
Following a ‘hiatus’ of few months, and on initiative by Anastasiia, we’re launching another collection.
This time the effort is run on behalf of the 151st Mechanised Brigade. This is a relatively new unit, established since October 2023, but it’s already deployed on the frontlines (and then in one of most critical sectors - Avdiivka-Pokrovsk - right now).
Thus, this collection is ‘including an element of urgency’.
One of 151st’s sub-units is seeking to buy two Mitsubishi L200s Rickshaw SUV. The cars should be bought in Poland (from where they can be imported without paying customs). L200s are looking like this:
When ready for service on the front, the vehicle(s) should look something like this:
Now, the European market of SUVs has already been bought ‘empty’ by the ZSU, and thus while original hope was to get at least one for €5,000,—, meanwhile, the price jumped up to €7,300. Add travelling expenses (to pick them up), re-painting, perhaps securing them through adding some ‘do-it-yourself’ armour, and you’ve got the picture….
Thus, my recommendation would be to collect €15,000, to have enough for two such cars, plus re-painting, plus add-on armour, and for travelling expenses of people who are going to pick them up.
The charity fund is set up as follows:

The collection is going on for some two weeks now, and Anastasiia has collected an equivalent of around €2,000 so far.
Sure, this might appear ‘awkward’ to some, but please mind: ‘cars’ of this kind are no ‘luxury’ for the ZSU. The force is critically short on them, all the time - while they‘re crucial not only for transporting troops, ammunition and/or supplies, but also for casualty evacuation.
As usually in cases of this kind, every cent counts: really, if you can donate 2 Euro/Dollar/Pounds - that’s perfectly fine, and be sure: gents of the 151st are going to be thankful for your aid, and put its results to very good use.
Just sent $100 via Paypal--easy peazy-- and hope others feel the urge to help these warriors out!
Just imagine if you needed these to help stay alive!
Tom, thank you for doing this, again.
