A home-on-jammer rocket/drone will attack the emitter (antenna), not the machinery. Think about assaulting at night using a flashlight to illuminate your enemy - you want to keep the flashlight away from your body, in order for the enemy to hit the flashlight, not you. Same with the antenna vs. equipment/personnel.
If you are using a tank as an EW platform, you could conceivably put the antennae on a trailer, so a home-on-jam rocket would hit the antenna instead of the tank itself.
