It takes literally seconds online to find out that the ICRC HAD been trying to gain access, but was blocked by Russia initially. If you don't want to sound deluded, do a little fact-checking first.
It was trying to gain access if Russia would give guarantees. So no risks and a lot of talk to save face. Russia has its own office of the Red Cross as well as Belarus which participated in kidnapping Ukrainian children.
I am working for the International Committee of the Red Cross , today we just lost 5 members of our team in South Sudan. Accusing ICRC of doing nothing , even in Ukraine is ridiculous, bias and nonsense.
I am sorry for all the losses, any life is precious. Brave people in Sudan. But you must admit that the Red Cross is not going to the frontlines in Ukraine, it never did. One cannot say the Red Cross is doing nothing, but definitely much smaller organisations with much less funding actually do a good part of the job the Red Cross should do in Ukraine. It's Red Cross after all, not a think tank. And at least stop accusing the other people of bias when you are biased yourself.
No evidence of Red Cross visiting or helping prisoners is major evidence of its impotence.

You are so uniformed that is painful to read.
It seems you are so well informed about what happens in Russia. Please enlighten us!
