Hello everybody!
Few quick updates, necessary because the last few days there were lots of developments.
***
Dear Supporters,
as announced in the Update 21, a very kind donor from Great Britain has offered his Renault minivan for the ZSU.
It took some time to organise its transfer to Germany, but this is meanwhile underway. The donor’s brother-in-law will be driving it. The part of the trip is going to cost around €500. Getting the vehicle to Ukraine (and then returning back, whether by bus or railway), another €1,000.
Please, be so kind to support this effort by donating per PayPal to:
PayPal: eduard.burghardt@googlemail.com
…or per wire-transfer to:
IBAN: DE75 2004 1177 0423 4704 00
Both Eduard and me are going to continue reporting about this effort.
Special thanks to everybody involved!

1st Tank Brigade
The process of establishing, equipping, and working up of the UAV-platoon you have so kindly supported by your donations - initiated as described in the Update 23 - is complete, and the unit is meanwhile ‘in the line’ (i.e. fighting). As expression of their gratitude the troops have sent their flag: Anastasiia accepted the same in the name of all those who were so kind to donate (and then so quickly!).
Of course - and like in the case of several other units - we’re going to continue supporting the 1st Tank as long as you remain so kind to continue supporting this collection, and there is any money left.
Meanwhile, lets wish the new unit good hunting!

65th Mechanised Brigade
As promised in the Update 23, here a photo of the generator supplied to the troops of the 65th. Sorry for delay: it was caused by the re-deployment of this unit.

78th Airborne Assault Regiment
As mentioned in the Update 24, and thanks to your donations, Anastasiia is already hard at work acquiring and shipping the equipment requested for a newly-established UAV-sub-unit of this regiment.
The first shipment of tablets has already reached its destination, troops are grateful, and sending their greetings! More is underway.

82nd Airborne Assault Brigade
The unit requested urgent help through provision of a charging station. Anastasiia was super-quick and the same has already reached the troops (price of the station was UAH 47,000,—: these are some of most expensive pieces of equipment we’re ‘regularly’ supplying to the ZSU).

ex-17th Tank/Now Raid Brigade
We’ve been approached by troops switching from the 17th Tank to the ‘Raid’ Brigade, with a request for a ‘drone detector’. While I’ll not go into the type of equipment in question, sufficient to say it costs around UAH 25,000. The only ‘problem’ is that it takes around a month to be manufactured and shipped to the troops. Thus, we’ve all got to be patient now.

Please, be so kind, continue supporting the ‘Rickshaws’: continue donating. It doesn’t matter how much you might provide: it’s really so that every single Cent counts.
Your donations to this effort are not wasted, nor spent for administration or accounting, but everything - every single Dollar, Euro, Ukrainian Hryna, or whatever else is donated - is spent directly and immediately for supporting Ukrainian warriors fighting on the frontlines. We’re making no distinctions between branches of the Ukrainian armed forces or security services, we do not care about the size or position of the unit, nor who is requesting what: thanks to your donations, we’re providing help to whoever requests it.
Our only ‘obligations’ are to continue doing so: we’ve got to acquire and ship the equipment mentioned above, service cars we’ve provided to the 128th and 151st Brigades, support sub-units of the 1st Tank Brigade and the 78th Airborne Assault Regiment. This is only possible if you remain as kind as over the last year (but especially this spring!), and continue supporting the ZSU.
Please, be so kind, do not hold back: it’s really every cent that counts, every cent is making difference.
