Hello everybody!
As, de-facto, ‘announced’ the last week, a lot is going on. Thus, can’t but grab a few minutes of time to inform you about the most important ‘details’.
Where shall I start…?
About two weeks ago, a reader from Great Britain was so kind to donate his Renault minivan. Have put him in touch with Eduard Burghardt, and they’re in the process of organising the transfer of that vehicle to Ukraine. This is going to be done in similar fashion to an earlier transfer of another vehicle organised by Eduard: this resulted in the vehicle visible on the following photo being transshipped, repaired, and then forwarded to the 14th Unmanned Vehicle Regiment, ZSU.
Of course, ‘more’ about your Renault is to follow as soon as we receive photos.
Such procedures are meanwhile not that complex: there is a number of volunteers helping, and they are constantly underway somewhere between the UK and Ukraine. Actually, something like the ‘most complex aspect’ of such vehicle-transfers - certainly one of its most expensive elements, too - is insurance for the car while it’s underway to its destination.
Have offered our support in this regards to Eduard, but he was so kind to use what’s left of money from his last such transfer, instead.

128th Mountain Assault Brigade
While we’re at ‘vehicles’… following lengthy deliberations about what kind of vehicle and where to get it, the 128th Mountain Assault opted for a SUV, preferrably a KIA. They’ve actually sent us a related video, but I can’t make it work with downloading and re-loading here, thus here just a still from the same.
We’re going to run this acquisition with help of Olga (she’s also running her own charity with a funny name, ‘The Recalcitrant Wives of Angels’) a widow of another warrior of the ZSU: she’s currently underway in Germany: thus, she will be able to look for a car of the kind is required, check it properly, and pay at least the up-front-part before she has to return to Ukraine.
Additionally, one of warriors from the 128th has already launched a collection. Feel free to support him either directly, or via us.
Of course, updates about this acquisition are to follow.

5th Assault Brigade
Up front, thank you for helping us help support the recovery of Andrei, the badly wounded warrior of the 5th Assault Brigade, whom I’ve mentioned in the Update 20.
His unit has meanwhile received its petrol generator:
Here’s the invoice for the same:

151st Mechanised Brigade
Last year in August-September (sorry, can’t find the related update right now), with help of your donations, we’ve acquired the following KIA Sportage for the 151st:
The vehicle saw heavy use throughtout the winter, and is in need of a new ‘turbine’, and few other parts - as obvious from the invoice here:
Thanks to your continued donations, the repair was already organised and is meanwhile underway. Indeed, a new turbine has already arrived:

60th Mechanised Brigade
I’m mentioning the following because it’s an excellent example for something like ‘routine’ in what is usually done with your donations. The 60th Mechanised Brigade requested a first aid kit.
Yesterday evening, Anastasiia was still busy assembling the same, thus here ‘just’ an illustration for your orientation, showing what is included in every such package:

‘Ah yes, and’… well, thanks to your donations from about one year ago, ‘our’ Shark has, between others, located this Russian BM-21 launcher… ‘well behind the frontline’ (really: well behind it). And then the same was destroyed by one of FPVs (from which this video was taken):

With other words: that’s ‘your money at work’ - and it helps Ukraine. When in no other fashion, then so that it helps destroy the Russian self-propelled artillery pieces and rocket artillery molesting not only ZSU troops along the frontlines, but civilians behind these, too.

Once again, I feel I can’t end an update without expressing my gratitude for what you all are making possible. People, you never stop amazing me: THANKS SO MUCH!
THANKS TO YOUR DONATIONS, thanks to your trust in us, we’re well-positioned to continue in fashion: we (‘still’) have enough money to continue. We can help so many units with 'minor shipments of expendables’, we can help Andrei, we can buy the car for the 128th Mountain Assault…

SPECIAL THANKS FOR YOUR CONTINUOUS SUPPORT!
Many thanks for supporting Ukraine!
Thanks for the updates, appreciate them. And it feels strange to have your report of the Shark drone, because suddenly it’s more personal. But good to support directly. On that note I would really like someone to write about how this war has been crowdfunded. In other wars governments have used war loans and bonds to get support. But in this war it is a big (I believe) crowd effort on both sides done where people support what they find interesting. Which of courses forces the various units and soldiers to try to attract funding. Analysing this would be pretty novel I think. (And it’s not meant as an underhanded way to get you to write about it, but it’s something I would like. Also it ties in to the extremely digitalised warfare, because soldiers upload their stories and experiences and insights are distributed globally immediately. Making it possible to see the effects of donations. Like the Sark drone.)
