There is information that in the middle of this month in Kazan at the summit meeting an agreement on "comprehensive cooperation" between Iran and Russia will be signed. I do not know how reliable this is, but it is certain that both sides at the current stage are primarily interested in the military component. In any case, the rapprochement between Iran and Russia will lead to an escalation of hostilities in Ukraine and the Middle East.
Principally,, I do not trust any kind of reports about Russo-Iranian 'alliance', 'treaties', arms purchases and/or deliveries - without clear evidence.
...that's all nice and fine, but: unless there is clear evidence for a serious military alliance between Russia and Iran:, and/or delivery of Iranian arms to Russia, or Russian arms to Iran: sorry, all of this is just the 'usual babbling' of the media about this topic. I'm following that for 40+ years (at least since the USA were 'fearing Soviet penetration of the Islamic Republic', back in 1979-1980) and cannot but repeat: 99,9% of such reports are entirely useless, and definitely misleading.
Hi Tom.
