Here in Serbia we welcome both Ukrainians and Russians!
They are both Serbian brothers.
Ukraine was the only country that stood with Yugoslavia when NATO attacked and bombed Serbia for 78 days! During NATO aggression USA and western countries killed more than 3000 civilians and less than 1000 soldiers. More than a million people fled from Kosovo and Metohija when the NATO bombing campaign started.
We hope that this civil war in Ukraine will end soon because we know, from our own experience during the Yugoslavia wars, nothing good comes out of it - we die and destroy our countries only for the western interest! After the war, western oligarchs privatized everything: our land, our laws(!), our mineral resources, our water…!
But we still hold to our values: we welcome both of our Slavic brothers, Ukrainians and Russians! We will provide you with everything you need!
If western countries start to deport Ukrainians back to Ukraine to fight, come to Serbia!
If you are Russian and don't want to get mobilized, come to Serbia!
❤️ Serbia is already flooded with Russians and Ukrainians! ❤️
It is as much a civil war as the Hitler's and Stalin's invasion into Poland.
And the Russians behave like brothers for sure - like the first brother in the history: "For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous."
It is a civil war as Yugoslavian wars in 90s were civil wars.
We all have relatives in Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia... more than 40% of marriages were mixed! Same situation is in Ukraine.
They are devastated, from both sides. Ukrainians lost country in every possible sense, Russian fled from mobilisation and leave their country and families (cousins, grand parents, friends...). They are at least happy that they find safe harbour in Serbia. Many of them try before with Turkey, Kazakhstan, Poland... even China and India but here in Serbia they are settled.
All that EW hardware that we see both sides, but especially russians lobbing around on their tanks and cars and such - how does it affect the soldiers who are in the vicinity? E.g. the transmission power must be quite strong and at the same time you see troops literally sitting next to the (tuned off?) EW hardware and antennas.
There isn't a lot of data on that: "The reviewed studies about the assessment of the human exposure to the radiation emitted by the above mentioned military devices suggest that in the exposure conditions here evaluated, there were only occasional situations of overexposure, but the large number of variables involved in the description of these scenarios, the wide heterogeneity of the exposure conditions and the absence of exposure evaluation for some specific devices make further studies necessary, also considering upcoming use of other technologies, such as 5G, which will dramatically change the exposure conditions also in military environment, both in terms of the time and conditions exposure and in terms of intrinsic sources characteristics, such as the used frequency ranges."
On the other hand, the US army just figured out that a Marine artillery battery that fired a lot of rounds in Iraq gave them brain injuries, something that wasn't immediately obvious.
Long term effects on Russian soldiers is likely to be rare due to how they are used in combat.
Judging by that Youtube video of Andrew Perpetua, these FPV drones are a real scourge in the battlefield. And because of their accuracy, these seem to be very powerful demolition machines, contrary to blindly shooting artillery rounds
You don't require a dozen kilograms of explosives for demolishing fortifications, their accuracy balances their lack of heavy payloads (and their quantity)
Спасибо.
Что скажите про Корею? Она провоцирует "свою" войну и поддерживает Россию боеприпасами?
Пишут, что ракеты, которые падали на Украину 29 декабря и 2 января были корейскими...
My pleasure.
Re. North Korean missiles: will be addressed in the next Q & A.
Thanks for the update looking forward to the book. Its not an easy battle Ukraine has on its hands.

Don't you think that Poles had relatives in Russia or Germany? Why then don't you call WWII a civil war?
It is Putin's invasion of Ukraine. Full stop.
BTW how the Russians treat Serbs https://t.me/bbcrussian/59003

Most of them have much smaller payload, meaning they cannot efficiently destroy fortifications or perform area attacks.
