In the next update, you'll hear how 20 Ukrainians defeated 5 Russian brigades, destroying 2000 vehicles. Meanwhile, Ukrainian counteroffensive after almost 5 months is going nowhere and the Russians are tying a noose around Avdeevka.
Now that Teplinsky is in charge of the Dnieper area, the Ukrainians will probably get nowhere there as well.
The only thing you can count on this blog is Tom's hatred towards the Russians and Israel (maybe even Jews in general, who knows really). Just try saying something against Hamas. You get autoban.
Hey Tom, Hamas is a terrorist organization and uses civilians as human shields.
I try to attach as many links as possible. There are an incredible amount of Russians being killed and wounded. Ukrainians are killed and wounded, too, but not at the same rate. I post what happens to Ukrainians when I come across a credible source, but so many pro-Russian sites recycle old videos or falsify new videos, and Ukrainians don't post very many of their failures.
Don't mistake territorial gain/loss with attrition. Just because Ukraine hasn't advanced much doesn't mean they haven't caused a lot more Russian casualties than they've suffered.
This post has nothing to do with Israel so I've no idea why you're bringing that up. Based on what you claim he said, when, in fact, he didn't, and accusing him of being something he's not, it doesn't surprise me that he doesn't want to interact with you.
You're right, of course. It is a brigade flag. But I did not say it was a Soviet flag to make a catchy statement. I saw another video of Russian soldiers signing a red flag with this brigade and a hammer and sickle in the corner. That video was associated with placing a flag on the Slagheap. I didn't pay close enough attention to see that it was a different flag. I was still incorrect, but I had no intention of misleading anyone. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
There's a lot of propaganda going around, for sure. I definitely support Ukraine's territorial integrity but I value the truth and appreciate corrections.
So true. It was the same in Bakhmut, as well. Some of the reasons I read there were: They were old and had nowhere else to go, it was home, or they had to stay to take care of animals. And then there were the firemen and others that stayed behind to take care of others that stayed behind.
You're right, of course, it is just a brigade flag, but I wasn't trying to make an unreasonable statement. I had seen another video of Russian soldiers signing a flag with both the hammer and sickle and the brigade number, as well. I'd also seen a lot of videos where the Soviet flag is flying from tracks or buildings and not the Russian flag. Incorrect is still incorrect and I apologize for the mistake. I should have paid closer attention.
I was astonished to read that it took 2.5 months for the tiny village of Adriivka to be liberated (well, whatever remained of it). Uprooting Russians from Ukrainian soil looks to be quite a hard task, and both sides are quite tenacious.
Part of the reason is that the 3rd brigade wanted to minimize their losses, so they only sent in small groups that had to sit through bombardments. And then they paused their assaults for a few weeks, which added to the time.
What credibility?

What he said was that Hamas is a terrorist organization that does NOT use Palestinian civilians as human shields.
Don, you are just trying to avoid Having to be banned to avoid write another weekly update arent you?
Maybe you're mistaking Don for me?
Seems likely. Sorry.

Well, he is proving Tom right for closing the comment section under the Palestine blog posts. That's the reason he is here....
You have obviously been brought up on so much Russian bullshit that you have no ability to evaluate a source of information.
symbolism still counts

People still live... poor woman. But I guess she has made her decision.

Think about Verdun or the tractor factory in Stalingrad. If both sides see a point as essential, a lot of people are going to die there, sadly.

Thanks Don for the report #1 on to #2
Thanks again for your “updating barrage”. Very helpful in order to broaden the overall view of the conflict.
Thanks Don. This is one helluva fight.
