....and after 35 years of that bullshit, I'm just fed up of idiots still coming to the idea to call me 'Adolf' and 'anti-Semite' - usually just because I'm an Austrian.

Fuck off, thug.

I'm confused, Tom. Did you consume a bit too much Enzian after that large lunch? Anyway, I look forward to your next foray into the mysteries of the ruzzo-Ukrainski war. Have a great weekend!

Oh my! Sarcastosaurus in full swing. I regret how the Spanish CNI loose the opportunity to enrol you. Yes, is a pity that the resort you want at Canaries have actually an owner... same with the alternative one at Costa del Sol (worse this have a RUSSIAN owner... XD ).

But the one at Majorca is already in order to be “transfered”. And everybody knows what a attachment you Germanics have for Majorca. Deal?

XD.

Your post make my day, thanks Tom.

With that resume you should also apply to CSIS, they have the best dental plan of any of them and you might live to collect a pension as well.

Wow! What a rant! (and so full of background details. I love it!)

But one thing was missing: Donald Trmpet! You may have hurt his feelings by leaving him out.

Waiting for your next article with bated breath!

I am curious. Do you consider Russian nuclear response a serious threat?

Yesno. It is a 'serious potential threat'. I.e. a capacity.

What's uncertain is its functionality. I.e. capability.

Comments are predominantly positive including these from the Russian opposition concerning the situation in Belgorod oblast. Maybe one has to bear in mind the political situation in Russia to conclude whether it was a success or not.

Yeah I think you're missing part of the fine print in Russin propaganda.

First, Russia is facing WW3, apocalypse, the moment they stop bombing Ukrainian civilians. Russians don't need proof for that, they know it to be true 100%. So... some smoke in some remote villages... hardly proof of anything. Ukrainian Nazis are already mass-murdering Russian civilians in Donetzk and Crimea anyway, and that since 2014, nothing new.

Second, fortunately Russia is safe against this horror because the Russian army is there defending the borders in full force. It's not even fighting at all, only defending. Wagner is the one destroying the last remnants of the Ukrainian forces in Bakhmut. Vugledar, Avdiivka? Sorry don't ring a bell. Smoke in some villages is what you'd expect from that Ukrainian scum, no news there. But the Russian army failing to stop that? Uh that does not compute, logical contradiction.

So bottom line is Russia cannot use this incident since they don't need proof to support their fiction and they have all the incentive to downplay it. Cause the Russian infosphere is absolutely not going to accept "we don't have the forces" as a reason to not defend Russian border villages.

Do not seek logic in Russian propaganda. Russian propaganda is the more aggressive, vile and false successor of the Soviet propaganda. And you must bear in mind that unlike Western society Russian society is passive and would accept everything as the most secure mode of life.

The only thing I dont understand as a Ukrainian - why cant our forces attack russians on their territory? What is the difference between hitting russians with drones in Belgorod and sending forces to kill russians with bullets on their territory? They can come and kill us on our land, but we cant do the same? Sorry but this is a bit dumb

You can attack Russian territory, but do not ask for US support then. That's an unspoken cold war rule - proxy wars, but do not attack the other big guy territory. Like it or not, that's the reality. (E.g. similar to Korea war etc.).

First is what Marmot explained.

From the US POV, this is a 'proxy war'. Rule No. 1 in such a conflict (already since the [First] Cold War broke out, back in 1948-1949) is: 'Proxies do not strike the motherland'.

Correspondingly, the message is something like, 'you no attack Russia'. It's 'wrong' to use US weapons to attack Russians in Russia. You can kill them in droves in Ukraine, but not in Russia.

Second is that half the US public is eagerly buying the PRBS-barrage by US 'Conservatives' along which

- 'there's no war in Ukraine' (for this, see also the latest 'everything's fine with McDonald's in Kyiv' affair in the social media);

- supporting Ukraine is none of US business and a giant waste of time (mind: that's the same conservatives that wasted US$3 billion in Iraq, and who knows how much in Afghanistan);

- along which 'USA spent $170 billion helping Ukraine, while Europe didn't do anything' (even the latter is a lie: so far, the USA donated around 75 billion, EU some 72 billion, which means that EU is actually outspending USA, measured by its GDP);

- Ukrainians are all corrupt drunkards, etc., etc., etc.,

....and then, so far Ukraine was a victim of aggression, but if it counterattacks into Russia, then it's no more a victim of aggression, but an aggressor, and that's a confirmation for Russian complaints that 'aggressive NATO expansion' and 'Ukronazism' are the reasons for the war....

Hope, that's enough reasons?

Also, this cold war rule has a one good reason: to avoid being like sleepwalkers walking towards WWI ( https://www.amazon.com/Sleepwalkers-How-Europe-Went-1914/dp/0061146668 ). Remember, it has started by kind of proxy war in Serbia.

Hey, Tom. You neglected to mention your membership in the People’s Front of Judea or was it Judean People’s Front.

Anywho, thanks for the write up. Really looking forward to the next one. I heard it through a grapevine that Ukrainians are ready to start their counteroffensive any day now.

USA position: russians can fire and strike from Russia and kill as many ukrainians as like, BUT Ukraine is BANNED to fire to strike on Russia territory. This is clear SADISM. Americans have pleasure from ukrainian pain, suffering and despaire, and deaths. Americans lie : "we afraid escalation". Litva, Latvia, Estonia, Poland and others NOT afraid escalation, but World hegemon afraid. Litva near Mordor, without nuclear weapon NOT afraid, but 1st army on 4000+ km distance afraid.

For many years i tell, that USA is ally to Moscow empire. USA made ALL for Ukraine destraction in 24 feb 2022, but failed.

Litva, Latvia, Estonia, Poland and others are not the one that will have to push the red button in nuclear case if shit really hits the fun. As Ukrainian I despise USA position, yet understand it.

You manipulate . Obviously USA will NOT as you wrote "push the red button in nuclear case"

Even more: USA PROVOKE Moscow to use nuclear weapon! And befor USA PROVOKED Big war in 24 feb 2022. By 1. USA imposed weapon embargo on Ukraine during 8 year of this war - so Ukraine COULD NOT buy most needed weapon. 2. USA invested 200+ billion $ in Moscow empire and 0 in Ukraine. 3. USA PUSHED on Ukraine to give up and PRESENT Crimea to Moscow. 4. USA lied and lie ALL TIME , so this provoke orks. 5. USA bought russian goods on 350+ billions $ since 2014. I can add more facts. But you wrote only lies
