Thanks for the update, Tom! RTVE (Spanish official TV and Radio) said this morning that about 100 people (30 Spaniards and 70 others, mainly Europeans and South Americans) was transported to Djibouti using six planes (about 90 SFs had been deployed to cover it). About 30 more nationals are trying to contact to be evacuated also.

I.e. from Khartoum IAP or somewhere else?

They mixed the info: first said from the civilian side of Khartoum AB, after that, an unknown location. I’m looking for it.

Gauging by reports from Italy, this morning, it must be the civilian terminal of Khartoum AB. Italians deployed 200 Carabinieri there.

From available images, it appears that Sudan has lost as much as a quarter of its aircraft and helicopters in service since the fighting broke out.
