Hello everybody!
While all the possible zombie idiots in the West continue excelling in proving they can’t think beyond repeating all the same mistakes of the last 24 years, and a better part of the political- and military leadership in Kyiv can’t do anything about improving the command and training of the ZSU, at least Ukraine’s UAV-forces are proving they can do quite well in regards of blowing up major Russian ammunition depots - and that without any kind of Western permissions. And so, this war is going on and on: there might have been no dramatic ‘advances’ in terms of new territory captured, this week, but the rate of attacks and losses remained very much the same like since months.
As usually, we’re going to cover developments on the battlefield ‘clock-wise’, i.e. from west, via north, then east, towards south.

Kursk
Ukraine says Russia sent 38,000 troops to Kursk, including some assault brigades from southern Ukraine.

As Ukraine expands east from the Novy Put incursion, the Russian-occupied villages of Sinyak, Kulbaki and Novoivanovka are pressured from both sides. They are not likely to push the Ukrainians back. If they do not withdraw, they are likely to be surrounded. Ukraine is at the edge of Sadovoye Tovarishchestvo Glushkovo (S.T.Glushkovo) which cuts off vehicular travel on paved roads between Glushkovo and Korenevo. There are still 1600 meters of dirt roads to the north of S.T.Glushkovo. Seven kilometers to the east of S.T.Glushkovo is Apanasovka, which appears to be back to occupied by Ukraine after changing hands several times.
Expanding west along the border into Volfino/Krasnooktyabrskiy, Ukraine’s 8th Special Purpose Regiment used FPVs, mortars and a machine gun on a ground drone to kill some Russians and convince others to retreat. The ground drone survived drone and RPG strikes. At the southern end of Krasnooktyabrskiy, Ukraine uses dragon drones to burn the Russians out of their positions.
Some fighting around Obukhovka (adjacent to Veseloe) in which four Ukrainian vehicles were knocked out. A Russian ATGM position in Veseloe is knocked out, followed by Russians in a schoolhouse being targeted by Ukraine’s air force. Six kilometers to the east, three Russian logistical vehicles are destroyed. Halfway between Veseloe and Glushkovo, a Russian BMD is destroyed, as is another BMD in the northern part of Veseloe.
Russian troops are tracked and attacked by drones in northern Glushkovo.
A Russian BMD fires on Ukrainian positions in Obukhovka, southeast of Snagost. A Ukrainian drone is jammed when it gets close and crashes into the ground. Two more drones operating on different frequencies hit the BMD.
Two videos in which the 95th fires on Russians near Veseloye and the 103rd engages them near Liubimovka.

Kursk- Northern Sector
During one of early Russian counterattacks, back in August, Russia’s 810th Naval Infantry Brigade was able to enter Kremyanoe and Sheptukhovka. When the Ukrainians pushed them back out some of the Naval Infantry remained in these villages. Russia has been attacking to break them out ever since. Sometimes they reach the villages and bring ammo and supplies. Sometimes the assaulting units are destroyed or forced to retreat. Ukrainians appear not to mind this situation: exactly like in the case of the Aggregate Plant in Vovchansk, it’s offering them plenty of opportunities to keep the Russians busy and ambush them again and again.

The Russian Arbat battalion maneuvers between Borki and Spalnoe and was one of units able to force Ukraine out of these villages.
The 41st Brigade had issues contributing to the fall of the canal district of Chasiv Yar, and was then transferred to Toretsk, which contributed to a Russian advance in that sector. Militaryland places them somewhere in the vicinity of Martynovka. Butusov has strong opinions on the commander of the 41st Brigade and the decisions that placed him in command, but his assessment that the 67th Brigade was unfairly blamed for failures at Chasiv Yar is contradicted by many reports, including those that fought as part of the 67th Brigade.

Ukraine finally took the Aggregate Plant in Vovchansk. The Russians bombarded it and other targets in the ruins of the town.

(…to be continued…)
Thanks for the update. Regarding the unwillingness to learn, the only solace I can find is that the Russians are equally bad at it. This of course means that both sides gets a lot of people killed unnecessary without achieving much, and thus prolongs the war and the suffering. For both sides. But at least Ukraine isnt the only one.
Thanks Don. I do not envy you having to make sense of the confusion in Kursk.
