Hello everybody! ‘Back’ to the war in Ukraine, where the fighting on approaches to Chasiv Yar, and west of Avdiivka is getting ever more bitter. Indeed, after something like 16 months of relentless Russian efforts in that area, even the situation east of Terny (west of Kremina) is coming to a head.
Sorry, must've missed it. That said, I'm rarely - perhaps 1-2 times a year -'bothered' by any kind of commentary.
I do read comments with great interest, because I'm both 'curious by nature' and 'curious to learn', too. But, with occasional exception of comments by different of 'typical, obvious racists', there's very little that can make me 'upset'.
This war it: PS my wife told me not to hold back my punches and really tell people what I mean:
If anyone just saw a flash in the sky or heard a BOOM that was my head first imploding, causing fission, and then expanding ever so rapidly outwards in a MASSIVE FUSION EXPLOSION.
Now....worry not, I am okay. My head usually explodes several times a week (typically azidoazide azide or HCM). This one was obviously a little BOOMIER because the world is a little STUPIDER.
Now, regardless of the FLaK I get for saying this I will say it anyways:
SOMEONE NEEDS TO give A rose to BIBI!!!!! (or a mechanic)
Preferably before this sock sucking son of a pig eating dog starts a WAR with real FALLOUT.
One of my guests grew up in Kreminna and played in these forests. Up to now the town has been mostly intact. Today we heard that they expect it to be totally destroyed very soon.
I do a daily roll up for my friends on FB and I have to constantly remind them of RU Disinformation campaigns and that Ukraine can and will and DOES hold the line and if given the tools can win. I find it so damn funny that in a country that has so many people who "Don't Trust the MSM" that we instead have so many people who will however fully believe RU propaganda if its put out on a "Alternative" news source because for some reason that is more truthful.
So true. Trouble is, if our prejudices are pandered to, we believe them. It's something you have to be aware of constantly. I don't know about other people, but even then it still trips me up.
Tom & Don: has anyone else noticed (in videos provided) that quite a few Russian Assaults have a mixture of BMPs and BMDs. Just "INTERESTING" is all.
Indeed: this will be discussed in a separate feature, due out tomorrow in the morning.

I'm sorry about that. I always try and keep in mind the human cost in this war. Yet another reason to wish for more western aid to shorten the war.

The most powerful propaganda is the one targeting our prejudices, indeed. Hence the need to question ourselves all the time
