Thank you Tom and Don! It's great to hear that Ukraine has managed to reduce the number of attacks by Russian forces

Thanks Tom and Don for the 3 part updates, Meteor integration and adaption to the PSU Mirage 2000-5Fs and F16s would be good, do the makers/country of origin of Meteor might be working on such Tom?

Surprised that the Copperhead munitions are still viable or they are end of life and should be in Ukrainian use, Don?

Thanks again for the updates.

Thank you very much. Somehow all looks grim at the beginning of this week.

"The glorious, wisest ever, magnificent and super-smart, solving-all-the-problems US President Donald J Trump is now in power for two weeks. "

Why is this "transactional" President in power? Trump's supporters claim that he had won a mandate to run the nation. Hardly. Trump won about 1.5 million more votes than Kamala Harris out of 150 million votes (about a 62% turn-out of eligible voters). Approximately 90 million Americans who were eligible to vote (not necesarily registered to vote, but should have been) never showed up at the polls. One might suggest--Hell! I am accusing them--that the non-voters put Trump into the Presidency as surely as the MAGA crazies have done.

The U.S. may act more like an Empire lately (post-WW2 at least), but it is supposed to be a Democratic Republic. We have just seen that about 90 million Americans allowed someone else make decisions for them instead of deciding for themselves. The results thus far? The 2nd term Trump Presidency, after less than a month in office, appears to me to be like something right out of a Franz Kafka novel. Well if not a Franz Kafka novel then perhaps a Daffy Duck cartoon.

Thanks for the update. You asked: «Where does Trump want to move the 2 million of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip? What country is going to accept them on its soil?» Trump says Jordan and Egypt. And doesn’t care. ( A little surprised he hasn’t suggested Greenland, after all there is a lot of space there….) The extremist Israeli have another answer: Ireland, Spain and Norway. The formal acknowledgement of Palestine must have hit a nerve. But what is happening is probably breakdown of negotiations again.

I hesitate to bring this up, but the first version of the National Socialists’ final solution was to send European Jews to Madagascar or someplace in Africa.

That’s true. It was Madagascar.

And Russia still has a "Jewish Autonomous Oblast". Though I don't think there's a lot of jews left there.

If Trump and Musk are offering white South Africans to relocate to US, he may offer Israelis to move to US and leave that damned desert patch to aboriginals. He would kill two birds with one stone then: bring peace to the middle east and Make America Whiter Again. (After deporting 11mil of colored illegal immigrants, there will be plenty of space and fine jobs in US).

Impossible to jam GPS… tell that to the health services flying in Finnmark in Norway close to the Russian border. They are irregularly jammed. Not very fun if you have a helicopter or some such and tries to navigate by GPS.

Thanks Don and Tom. Actions of Trump & co seem erratic and confusing, but we must remember that they intend them to be so

And the end of the war proposed by the USA and supported by the Ukrainian right-wing sectors that remained in power after the Euromaidan coup is approaching. And as expected, instead of signing peace in 2022 where Ukraine was in a better negotiating position, it is now going to lose the republics of Donetsk and Luhansk and of course Crimea. Not only that, now American companies will land in Ukraine to take their resources as a form of payment for US support in the war and on top of that they have been left in debt for years. This is the result of following the siren song of the West that now with the market economy, the Ukrainian population will live better. God save the market.

And in what situation have the Europeans been left with their genuflection to American politics?

Oh how scary, Putin "ante portas".

This never was a war between Ukraine and Russia, but between USA and Russia and for extension, between USA and China. The russian defeat would have meant weakening an important partner of China.

The USA, like any empire in decline and desperation, will use violent means to maintain its status quo.

China is intelligently doing their work through economic means and is associating with those countries that have been harmed by American hegemony -think about BRICS-, they know that they cannot (at least for now) defeat the US war machine, but the fall of the USA and the rise of China is only a matter of time. Whether many like it or not.

And what is Europe going to do? Will it remain stuck on the losing wagon of its American boss or will it look for a way to adapt to the new world that is coming?

It was rumoured Trump wanted to exchange future military support for half a $ trillion of mineral rights.
