Hello everybody!

Erm… well, it might be too early to say, but it does appear like that ‘four-days-cease-fire’ between the Syrian government and the PKK/SDF didn’t really hold even for minutes.

Before I explain that still, let me clarify one thingy: the Arab-members of the ‘SDF’ have mass-defected. Almost to the last. They ‘melted away’: joined the uprising of the local Arab tribes - and then the resulting advance of the Syrian Army. That’s what resulted in the near-total collapse of the PKK/SDF’s control over north-eastern Syria. And while fleeing, they have left behind ruined schools, thousands of mines and IEDS, neglect and destruction of the local infrastructure - especially schools and hosptials.

Rather unsurprisingly considering the true nature of that organisation, Egid Serzan, one of it’s ‘commanders’ reacted by issuing death threats with literal mass murder for all the Arab tribes in north-eastern Syria:

But hey: why should anybody care about some lovely, pluralist, internationalist PKK-cadre threatening Arabs with death, right?

Of course, the ‘good, progressive Kurds’ are free to threaten as much as they like.

It’s also ‘unimportant’ if what was left of the PKK/SDF has killed 11 Syrian soldiers within the first 24 hours of the cease-fire alone.

They’re Syrians, so they do not matter, right?

What does matter is that yet another of PKK-pearls, Foza Yusuf, member of the ‘PYD Presidential Council’, was in tears and begging. She said, ‘The people of Rojava need to cross into Nusaybin and Suruc (Turkey; my note). There is a danger that Kurds will be massacred…’

Those with any kind of trace of clue about the PKK/PYD/YPG/SDF-conglomerate must’ve memorised Yusuf the best by her inability to use the words ‘Turkey/Türkye’ and/or ‘Syria’. They do not exist in her vocabulary (just like they do not exist in the vocabulary of entire PKK). At most, she is naming the local border-towns (in Turkey). Moreover, for years, she’s damning Turkey the ‘genocidal nation’.

But, now, she demands, ‘Kurds of Rojava’ must be sheltered - by that ‘genocidal nation’…?

What a surprise the Turks are keeping the border closed.

And then, Jeremy Corbyn - the same character that couldn’t say a single word of accusation of the Assadist regime for the ‘industrial-scale’ mass-murder on Syrians (including thousands of Kurds) protesting against him, and that for 13 years - takes only a few days to start demanding the British government to ‘save Kurds’ (in Syria)?

Curiously, neither Corbyn, nor any of other good- and Kurds-loving people in ‘the West’ cares about the Turcomen: members of the Turkish ethnic group driven out of the country by the Russian bombs in 2015-2016, in the name of ‘war on terror’…

…what a surprise then, when those of them serving with the 76th Division of the Turkey-controlled SNA, have spent six-seven days battling the PKK to secure the Suleyman Shah Tomb (a historic site: tumb of Suleyman Shah, the grandfather of Osman I, the founder of the Ottoman Empire; obviously, of particular importance for the Turks).

Meanwhile, within areas liberated from the PKK/SDF the last week, the locals are finding ever more of big underground fortifications. Lookie here, US- and EU-taxpayers, this is what the PKK/SDF was wasting your taxpayer’s money over the last 10 or so years: some of the tunnels and underground fortifications are big enough one can drive trucks inside, others are slightly smaller, and yet others are luxuriously furnished.

It was when one such facility outside Qamishli was hit - either by guided bombs of the Turkish air force or by drones of the Turkish armed forces - few days ago, that Sipan Hamo, PKK/SDF-spokesperson (the same that was calling Israel for help, days-long) was killed, too.

Point is: with the mass of PKK-troops fleeing from the battlefield (so much so, the Syrian Army is still busy collecting all the heavy equipment they’ve left behind), and the PKK-cadre in Ayn al-Arab/Kobani and Qamishli continuing to spread venom PRBS, ordering summary executions of (Arab) civilians in Ayn al-Arab (and then documenting their own crimes), provoking local Arabs in Nashwa (south of Qamishli), the government in Damascus has ordered the Syrian Army to bring in its heavy metal. And so one can now see videos like this one, from north-eastern Syria:

One exception are PKK’s UAV-operators. They’re all the time continuing to fly strikes - using Chinese-made Mugin-3s, and, reportedly, Iranian-made drones, one of which killed seven Syrian Army troops and wounded 20 while striking an abandoned PKK/SDF ammo depot in Hasakah.

Indeed, photos and videos have appeared in the social media, showing the purported ‘UAVs of Iranian origin’, but: sorry, can’t definitely say they are ‘Iran-made’. Only, ‘Shahed-like, but much smaller’:

Of course, the PK… ahem… SDF has promptly refuted the use of Iranian-made drones…

Notable: a lots of the PKK/SDF’s UAV-capability came from activists of the ‘Drones for Rojava’: they’re collecting donations in cryptocurrency for at least two years now. I.e. they are openly supporting an organisation outlawed as ‘terrorists’ in the USA and the EU, thus violating laws, and bragging with a ‘democratisation of drone warfare’. And yet, nobody cares…

Also notable: the USA are evacuating about 7,000 Daesh-prisoners from facilities in Syria - to Iraq.

Overall: everything is now ready for the next - and, I most sincerely hope - the final round of this war in Syria. The only thing that could cause another delay is weather: AFAIK, today it’s snowing heavily - from Afrin (outside Aleppo), via Raqqa, to Qamishli.
