My point is this: had Ukraine, say, attacked Crimea on 21 February this year: yes, that would've been a big problem for its armed forces.

But meanwhile.... considering the deteriorating condition of the RFA: I do not think it would be a big problem any more. At least by the end of May, when all the units currently undergoing conversion to Western weapons systems complete their training, Ukraine is going to enjoy parity in firepower and superiority in precision. Then this is going to become an entirely new war.
