Ah yes, and: you didn't ask for this, but let me tell you one thing. IMHO, the US Army wouldn't do any better in the place the VSRF/RFA in Ukraine.

You shouldn't be, for the reason is simple, and - by now - should be more than 'well known': it's Putin, and his micromanagement, resulting in pushing commanders to squander their units in entirely pointless assaults, all run for the purpose of making him popular at home... that's a perfect recipe for a military disaster.
