Rickshaws for the 151st, Update 2
Collection on behalf of the 151st Mechanised Brigade, ZSU
Hello everybody!
I cannot but start this one with BIG THANK YOU, everybody! You’re simply fantastic, and I’m feeling deeply humbled by and extremely greateful for your preparedness to help!
Now to update you on our collection for the 151st Mechanised Brigade, ZSU, which is currently fighting in the Avdiivka-Pokrovsk sector.
As of the last night, we’ve collected a total of US$15,256,—, including,
US$ 8,665.84 via PayPal, and
UAH 190,478.58 via the bank account (if my calculation is of any use, that would be € 4,196,30 [or US$ 4,607,90]).
Anastassia has meanwhile arranged two things:
she’s been registered as a volunteer (so to avoid paying income tax for your donations), and
the first car - it became a Nissan Navara - to be shipped to Ukraine.
Correspondingly, she has already withdrawn a total of US$2,000 from the PayPal account for advance/down payment, too.
Indeed, this first truck is already in Lviv, in Ukraine: there it’s to undergo maintenance and re-painting.
Made in 2008. The total price (including transfer to Lviv) was US$5,600.
The next week, it will be shipped to the 151st: rest of its value is due on delivery. We’re going to keep you posted on related developments, of course!

I would like to thank each of you for your contribution to our collection. In Ukraine today it is very difficult to collect money even for one car. Before I wrote my commentary about the collection for 151 brigade, I appealed to many stars and just famous people in Ukraine. None of them replied. When I wrote the first comment on this blog, I could only hope that there would be people who would put a few dollars into my account and that it would move the fundraiser forward. But I certainly didn't expect Tom Cooper himself to respond to my request. I still can't believe we were able to raise so much money. As soon as the car is delivered, we will provide a photo report. You are amazing, thank you again.
