Pasdaran are no 'kamikaze' (just like all of Iranians are no Kamikaze'), and no religious fanatics.

....generally, as 'sincerely nationalistic' as members of the Rosgvardia, and both serving with just one purpose: keeping the regime in power - foremost against internal-, but against external enemies too.

Thus, from my POV: actually, no difference.
