I think it's on time to explain the following: I'm EXTREMELY critical of all the politicians/decision-makers in particular. My line of thinking in regards of them is something like, 'corrupt and/or incompetent until proven otherwise'.

Thus, while this 'announcement' is 'perfectly fine', per se, I cannot but conclude that warning people and getting them out - on time - from places like Bilohorivka, could've saved plenty of lives. My impression is that this didn't happen - and that it didn't happen because 'somebody up there' was scared, shit-less, from making it known that the Russians have crossed the Siversky Donets.
