Re. Israelis: don't think so. When it comes to Syria.... sigh... well, call me 'anti-Israel' (so many do so, thus who cares any more), but, Israel is behaving either like absolutely stupid and having no idea about geo-strategy at all, i.e. like intentionally missing one opportunity after the other....

....or like if having an IRGC/Hezbollah-run para-state there is good for Israel.

With other words: all they're going to continue doing will be to fly sporadic air/missile strikes.

Just enough to keep everybody reminded 'about that situation there' and 'mortal threat for Israel' and other, usual, Israeli PRBS. Meanwhile, the IRGC is firming its grip on the country, because: hand on heart, that's simply good for Israel. The more threat there is, the more aid it's receiving.
