Gauging somebody's morale... that's pointless. See all the Western assessments of the last five months: most were giving Ukrainians between 3 days and 3 weeks in this war. So much so, such assessments by Western intel agencies became a co-reason for Putin ordering this invasion.

The way I know the Russians, they are everything: too arrogant, too clueless to know better, too indoctrinated, and too fatalistic but to stop fighitng, regardless in what basement is their morale.
