I find it difficult to believe that these agencies would give up power, however temporarily, to achieve the alleged long-term goal. This also would require a high degree of creativity and innovation. It is obvious that Trump is a Kremlin puppet, recruited back in the 80s. This is revenge for the collapse of this prison of nations called the USSR. Therefore, Trump and his team will continue to destroy the USA. This is indeed a very well-thought-out project that was conceived a long time ago. I even heard a theory once that the KGB, GRU, and SVR allowed the USSR to collapse because they knew they wouldn't be able to hold on to the situation, so that they could then sneak their way into the higher echelons of power in the US using their agents. These are methods of warfare, including information warfare, that are described in books about the KGB. Now we are seeing in reality the implementation of all these plans to destroy the United States by agents of influence. One of them is Trump. I think no one has any doubts about who he is and whose interests he works for. Even the US intelligence agencies, whose task is to protect the country from external and internal threats, have done absolutely nothing to stop Trump and his team over the years.

I am sympathetic to the rest of your post, but I find above quotation a bit far-fetched. I find it difficult to believe that these agencies would give up power, however temporarily, to achieve the alleged long-term goal. This also would require a high degree of creativity and innovation. Was the Soviet brutalist regime ever innovative? A serious question on my part--I am no historian of the era or of all things Russian. I recognize that these agencies were/are brutal and that the Soviet Union itself was a master of disinformation, a powerful tool for a nation-state that was/is not as powerful as they made themselves out to be (more disinformation that has been practiced through much of the Russian Empire's history).

You are absolutely right, one should not take my or anyone else's word for it, one should search for the truth oneself, one should compare the various information received, pick out the nonsense from it and leave only the facts for oneself. When you have such a background of facts, you won't need any experts, you will review on your own. As for the territory I described about the collapse of the USSR and the KGB, it is of course far-fetched and there is no confirmation of it. It's just someone's theory. But the methods described are in the books about the KGB and this is a fact. There is also plenty of evidence that all of Trump's inner circle, all of his friends, all of his relatives, all of his business associates and himself are connected to the Kremlin, and that is also a fact. This is even confirmed by all his actions, which play into the hands of the Kremlin alone.I'm not forcing you to believe me and you don't have to.
Trump will not be awarded the peace prize. It must be said however that giving it to Obama was a great mistake and I assume we Norwegians will get a tariff increase or something to pay. We are to blame so we will have to pay.
The curmudgeon in me suggests that it is not a good idea to award the Nobel Peace Prize to world leaders for their actions while in office. Yes, I know that perhaps some world leaders are worthy of the prize--e.g., perhaps Theodore Roosevelt for his role in ending the Russo-Japanese War of 1905?--but granting such awards in my perception politicizes the Nobel Prize for Peace unnecessarily.
Now perhaps Trump could be awarded the (Ig)Noble Piece (of @ss) Prize. Gawd knows, he has earned it over and over and over again during his sleazy lifetime.

But over the years the Peace Prize Committee has made some very surprising as well as stupid moves. It must be understood that this is an independent body, not the Norwegian government. China entering Ukraine as a peacemaking force would be a monumentally stupid decision by the West. We all know that China isn't a neutral player (on 4th July, their foreign minister told that China cannot afford to let Russia lose the war in Ukraine).

To be fair, Zelensky has already publicly rejected China being a security guarantor. I don't think EU would be happy either, so chinese troops in Ukraine are unlikely (unless really pushed for by Orange Taco).

Zele is not an NPC because the Ukrainian army and people still resist (often despite his actions) and he represents them in negotiations. If he was really an NPC then the war would have already ended in Alaska (or much earlier) with Ukranian capitulation and there would be no need for additional bells and whistles (meetings with EU and Zele, bilterateral, treating ruzzia with sanctions, etc). The situation is bad but it's not that bad.

Thanks Don. That's a worrying report about the ISR drones being shot down so quickly.
Of course the summits were fruitless. But at this point this was the best result for Ukraine. No land for peace deal down their throats. No new round of partial ceasefire. No stop in sanctions etc. Putin is of course happy as he is sure he is winning, while Ukraine avoids a defeat forced on them from their allies.
