Bilohorivka

7 km south of Bilohorivka, the 54th Brigade has defended against many attacks. This is a 27 minute video that describes one attack back in April.

Bakhmut

There were infantry clashes around Klishchiivka and Avdiivka. Ukraine also pushed Russia away from the canal by Chasiv Yar.

The biggest single attack was a two-pronged attack on the canal district of Chasiv Yar. The northern route used the main road to enter the canal district. The southern route traveled along a woodline before turning north into the city. The vehicles that arrived in Bakhmut last week were put to use and 12 of them were destroyed before they reached the city. Four more were destroyed after they entered. They didn’t just enter the city’s edge, one BMP dropped off infantry 700 meters into the district. Ukrainian counter attacks eliminated any of the Russian infantry that made it into the city.

Avdiivka

Russia advanced a kilometer east of Novokalynove. Despite heavy fighting, they were held in check everywhere else except for Netailove, where they captured the rest of the village. They lost at least 20 vehicles to Ukraine’s 5.

We don’t see enough ATGM’s in Ukrainian hands. The 47th Brigade uses one here…

Marinka

Russia continues to run the gauntlet and pump troops into Krasnohorivka and they are inching forward there. There was heavy fighting from Pobieda to Novomykhailivka but little territorial change. East of Vuhleda, Russia tried to attack out of Mykilske but couldn’t make any headway.

West of Novomykhailivka, Russia attacked with 17 vehicles in one assault. Ukraine destroyed 11 of them. A note to anyone that is on fire: Stop, drop and roll…

Zaporizhzhia

The Russian assault into Staromaiorske last week failed to gain a foothold. This week they focused on Urozhaine. They still couldn’t push out of the southern edge of the village despite heavy airstrikes and rocket strikes from helicopters.

Most of the fire support in Robotyne is dominated by drones for both sides. Russia dumps the small squads into the village and Ukraine hunts them down with drones and infantry.

Kherson

After Ukraine took control of Nestryha Island, Russia responded in the usual way of sending one assault group after another. Ukraine reacted in their usual way of trying to eliminate the Russians as they approached. Ukraine says that Russia is losing over 100 men a day in assaults on the island. There are no reports on Ukrainian losses. The size of the attacking and defending units is small. Magyar narrates the journey of a seven-man Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group in the video here.

They have fast boats and EW gear that reads the frequencies the drones are using and then jams them on that frequency. Magyar’s Birds is one of the best drone units in the war so they use special equipment to avoid the jamming. The first drone was shot down by the experienced Russian troops. The second drone was close enough to spray the boat with an airburst. Two are known to have survived. However, the boat was turning in circles and there was briefly a small fire on the its front. A third drone approaches and the two known survivors jump out but the blast kills them. The boat survived, so they sent a fourth drone to finish it off. 46.499479, 32.324989
